The FAO Schwartz Silkstone Soiree Platinum Barbie is limited to less than 1,000 dolls worldwide. The doll features a three-tiered, fitted pink dress that has sequins and silver embroidery work. She comes complete with white gloves, hose, and pumps. Her gloves and earrings are stores in the included bag which also accompanied by a stand.

The sixth Lingerie Barbie® doll in the Barbie® Fashion Model Collection is simply sassy in a short pearl-grey satin slip trimmed in black lace. Her thigh-high stockings add a hint of flair. Completing her look is a simple black ribbon bow in Barbie® doll’s striking long, straight red hair.
It is really too bad that this doll was not sold as a dressed doll as it would have been so wonderful if she was in a cute mod outfit. Silk-stone dolls are made of a resin type material except for the heads. these are heavier than other dolls and are made for adult collectors not kids.

Silkstone is a mixture of granite and other elements so that it is very hard and much heavier than vinyl. Robert Best and Mattel came together to create Silkstone dolls.
Trace of Lace is stunning, and her dress is to die for (I love black lace). Silkstone dolls are thinner than their earlier Mattel counterparts, so your clothing for early Barbie’s will fit, but they will be loose. The Silkstone clothing, however, will not fit the early Barbie bodies. Silkies can wear Fashion Fever clothing, and FF can wear SOME Silkier outfits.
